TRAIL : The Ashokan Rail Trail has a small stone gravel base that is 10-12 feet wide, and is ADA compliant The trail sits on the historical right-of-way of the Ulster and Delaware Railroad, which ceased operations in 1978 and was purchased by Ulster County the following year. Address NYS Route 28 - West Hurley (Town of Hurley) to Boiceville (Town of Olive) From New York State Thruway Exit 19 in Kingston take Route 28 West 5.3 miles to the Woodstock Dike trailhead parking lot, 11.3 miles to the Ashokan Station trailhead parking lot and 16.5 miles to the Boiceville Bridge trailhead parking lot.
